The cheap route is from the Denon, it get decent ratings. ![]() The one that comes with some of the higer end Denon, and Marantz recievers is not bad, and the ones that they use for the MCintosh stuff is quite nice, but that one will set you back a bit more money. ![]() I have one that came with my high end home theater reciever, and I use it all the time for these kind of things, it is accurate enough to measure your studio and they can be had for nothing if look for them used. You have to think are you going to acutally use this many times? If so then buy a really nice one, otherwise if you are only interested in taking some measurements and treating your room, this will work quite well, and it is cheap in price. You might also think about looking for one of the mics that come with a lot of the new home theater recievers that are used to take room measurements for the audyssey room correction software on most home theater recivers. ![]()
